Hi, I’m Jillian Sanders.

I’m a Denver-based publicist and media strategist with 20 years of experience helping lifestyle brands earn the kind of press that builds legacy — not just buzz.

After 17 years in New York City, I moved to Denver and launched JSPR, partnering with clients across the country in interior design, wellness, and publishing. I care deeply about connection— there’s nothing more rewarding to me than collaborating with thoughtful, creative founders to shape the narrative behind their work and bring their vision to life.

I originally moved to NYC to study acting—only to discover that my real strength was behind the scenes. I began by working with industry icons Frederique van der Wal and Goosebumps author R.L. Stine, then transitioned into a becoming a talent agent at Don Buchwald & Associates. From there, I entered publishing, first as a publicist at Grand Central Publishing (Hachette), where I assisted on national campaigns for bestselling cookbooks, including Gwyneth Paltrow’s It’s All Good and titles from Food Network chefs.

I later joined the PR team at Random House (Crown imprint), and eventually moved into lifestyle media as Senior Manager of Public Relations for Hearst Magazines. There, I led press and events for House Beautiful, Town & Country, Food Network Magazine, VERANDA, and The Pioneer Woman Magazine.

From Hearst, I transitioned over to tech PR as Senior Director of PR and Events at Zeel, the country’s leading on-demand massage platform—where I oversaw national brand strategy, partnership activations, and represented the company on television across major markets.

These combined experiences ultimately inspired me to launch my own PR firm. Today, I work closely with select clients to craft thoughtful, story-driven publicity rooted in authenticity and intention. Whether you’re launching something new or looking to elevate your presence, I’ll help you get seen, heard, and remembered for all the right reasons.

Outside of work, you’ll find me on a Pilates mat, hosting dinner parties, chasing my nephew through a park, or reading with an iced coffee in hand. I love a good road trip, a passport stamp, and any excuse to try a new recipe—especially if it means gathering people around the table. Travel, movement, and connection fuel me in work and in life.
